Another Gold Quality Level Award for Lange Moving Systems

The smile on day 7 looks the same as the one on day 1.

This summer, we had the privilege of announcing to our blog readers and Facebook friends that Lange Moving Systems has reached the milestone of 20 years spent serving the great people of Columbia and Lexington, SC. Our movers are proud of this achievement, particularly because so much of our business during those 20 years has come from word-of-mouth recommendation by previous customers. This month, we enjoyed celebrating our anniversary with our fellow agents within Arpin Van Lines at the company’s annual convention in Amelia Island, Florida. In today’s blogpost, we tell you about the great experiences we had there and the awards that our Columbia and Lexington movers were honored with.

Columbia Movers: Handle with Care!

Columbia Movers: Handle with Care!

Container

We’ll begin by telling you this: Each of our Columbia movers treats each of our customers as if they were members of their own family, caring for their furniture and treasured belongings as though they were their own. In fact, the high level of attention that we devote to each relocation job has been a hallmark of Lange Moving Systems for 20 years now, and we don’t plan to change that any time soon. One of our co-owners, Chuck and Kym Lange, is personally involved in every move, and we get the customer’s feedback at many points during the move to find out how satisfied they are with the service they’re receiving. With all of that being said, there are a few moves that require us to devote even more attention to the protection of the items that we are moving. Today we’d like to tell you about how we handle antiques, artwork, and other irreplaceable treasures to give them the safety on the road that they deserve.

Columbia Movers
Last month, we began our two-part blogpost about all the exciting projects and developments that took place here at Lange Moving Systems in 2016. Today, we tell you about the rest of the things that our West Columbia movers were up to last year. We hope you enjoy our annual “family newsletter”!

Giving Back to Columbia

Columbia, SC is our community, and our company makes it a point to do all that we can to give back to it through many different efforts. The holidays present unique opportunities for our West Columbia movers to help out those in need, with projects like delivering Christmas presents to the Hannah House women’s shelter—something that has become a yearly tradition for Lange Moving Systems. A moving truck is of great use in a situation like that, and we’re so happy to be able to donate the time and equipment to help out. Read More West Columbia Movers: A Look Back at 2016 (Part 2 of 2)

Columbia Movers Get Ready for the Cold

Columbia Movers Get Ready for the Cold

winter moving challenges

The cold weather is on its way! Make no mistake: here in South Carolina the winters are much more mild, comfortable, and free of the dreaded white stuff than they are up north. But we do have a few weeks during the winter when temperatures get down below freezing on a regular basis, and depending on where in the state our Columbia movers are working, they occasionally deal with several inches of snow and ice on the ground. But don’t worry if you are planning on a January or February move—the crews of Lange Moving Systems are ready for the cold, snow, and ice. Read More Columbia Movers Get Ready for the Cold

How Columbia Movers Keep Track of Your Belongings

how-columbia-movers-keep-track-of-your-belongingsAt Lange Moving Systems, our teams of Columbia movers handle hundreds of moves every year. If you are a disorganized person by nature, the thought of that responsibility probably shakes you to your core! Each of those hundreds of families owns dishes, books, electronics, clothing, tools, and a myriad of other categories of items that they expect us to get from point A to point B. It’s our job to make sure each individual customer has that expectation met, and that not a single sofa cushion, floor lamp, or box of stuffed toys gets misplaced along the way. How do we do it? Here’s a brief look inside our process and the amount of organization that it takes to pull off so many successful moves.
